I'm not entirely sure my stuff will fit in here, based on just looking around, but I think this is just a fantastic site (I stumbled across it on craigslist looking for work). I'm a comic artist, which isn't something people usually take seriously as 'art' art, but hey its what i love.

lately, I've been working on my webcomic and a few experiments with one-panel comic paintings. I just finished an art show with a bunch of other local artists where i sold my own hand-stapled comics. I just recently graduated high school and won a local college scholarship for my art, so i would say things are going pretty good for me.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people on the site and putting up some stuff to sell!

i too joined this site after seeing it on craigslist, while looking for work and i can totally relate to what u r feeling, i myself am inspired by certain comics, and there is a bit of an element of that in my work. this picture is really cool, u def. have some talent, and the fact that u won a scholarship is proof!

@brainvomit....what do you mean that comic art is considered by most 'artists' as not real art? What else would you describe it as? And who is to say? Id like to consider myself an 'artist' and I love your work. Art is what you make it...what YOU make it...not what others tell you and apparently what youre doing people like...I think your comics (as to what ive seen) are nothing short of awesome. Keep it up.
